Sweet Ermengarde or, The Heart of a Country Girl (1921): A parody of romantic melodramas, Ermengarde Stubbs laments on her relationships with the villainous Squire Hardman, would-be rescuer Jack Manly, and her fiancé Algernon Reginald Jones.
