| Summary, etc. | Mortadelo y Filemon es una serie de historieta humoristica creada y desarrollada por el autor espanol Francisco Ibanez a partir de 1958, la mas popular de las suyas, y probablemente de todo el comic en Espana. La serie nacio con el nombre de Mortadelo y Filemon, agencia de informacion, tomando como base comica la ficcion de detectives y con historietas de 1 a 4 paginas. Desde el principio los personajes protagonistas estaban definidos: Filemon es un hombre colerico de dos pelos y es el jefe, y Mortadelo es un hombre alto y calvo, con nulo sentido comun y la capacidad de disfrazarse de cualquier cosa. / Mort & Phil is one of the most popular Spanish comics series, published in more than a dozen countries. It appeared for the first time in 1958 in the children's comic-book Pulgarcit, drawn by Francisco Ibáñez. The series features Mort, the tall, bald master of disguise named after mortadella, and his bossy partner, the shorter, pudgier Phil. |
