Summary, etc. Wie geht das Leben weiter, wenn die Mutter an Krebs verstorben ist, der Vater schon lange eine neue Familie gegründet hat, weit entfernt lebt? Claire, die jüngere der beiden Schwestern ist 15 und versucht in Berlin in der WG ihrer Schwester Sophie (24) wieder Fuß zu fassen. Dort fühlt sie sich verloren, sehnt sich nach dem Ort ihrer Kindheit, ihren "Wurzeln", dem Haus ihrer Mutter in einem Dorf im Wendland. Die Schwestern ziehen deshalb für einen Sommer dahin. Es beginnt ein schmerzlicher Prozess für Claire, Erinnerungen an das Leben davor mit der Mutter zulassen zu können, sich ihnen zu stellen.
