Summary, etc. »Wer die Jugend hat, hat die Zukunft«, verkündeten die Nazis. Bei ihrer Machtausübung stützten sie sich auf einen weit verbreiteten Jugendmythos. Ihr Herrschaftssystem nahm Jungen und Mädchen in historisch einmaliger Weise in seinen Dienst, um sie zu »Garanten der Zukunft« des großdeutschen Imperiums heranzuziehen. Wichtigster Träger dieses Konzepts war die »Hitlerjugend«. Als Staatsjugendorganisation prägte sie die junge Generation aufs nachhaltigste, stieß bei einer Minderheit aber auch auf Opposition und Widerstand.
